Library Lab- STEM Fest

The Huron Valley section of the American Chemical Society and Cayman Chemical is sponsoring Library Lab - STEM fest at the Ypsilanti Whittaker library (5577 Whittaker Rd., Ypsilanti) on Saturday April 27th from 2-4 PM ( ).

Volunteers are needed to organize and/or help run hands-on science demonstrations for children (ages 6-16) for the following demos:

Volunteers needed at Trick or Treat on the River - Gallup Livery!

The EMU Chemistry Club is looking for 2 to 3 volunteers to help out at the Trick-O-Treat On The River at Gallup Canoe Livery on Sunday, October 16th (Gallup Canoe Livery is located at 3000 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor).

We’ll be dressing up as non-gory mad scientists and making slime to give out. We encourage dressing up in costumes.

We are planning to set up in the Arts and Crafts Area at the Gallup Canoe Livery.

Huron Valley ACS Science Cafe

Please join us for a science Cafe presentation by Kimberly Venuk, Forensic Scientist in the Controlled Substances Unit of the Michigan State Police.  Her talk in titled "High Times in Michigan: Exploring the Latest Street Drugs.

The location will be at Sidetrack Bar and Grill, 56 E. Cross St., Ypsilanti, MI.
